We are currently seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team, working remotely and on-site in Palmetto, Florida.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Full-Time Accounting Assistant.
This position will involve supporting our Fractional CFO and Fractional Controller in providing high-quality financial services to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel, possess strong communication skills, and excel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for multiple clients Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions Prepare and process invoices and expense reports for clients Aid in month-end and year-end closing procedures for clients Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients Provide support for payroll processing for clients Assist with financial reporting and analysis for clients as needed Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 1-3 years of accounting experience Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
