Responsibilities:
Responsible for receiving orders, processing paperwork, and creating delivery tickets daily.
Responsible for preparing and reconciling daily trip sheets and load sheets.
Assist the branch manager with inter-plant and special pick-ups and deliveries.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
Utilize systems, reports, and monitoring devices provided by the company to better manage fleet, for example, GPS systems.
Establishes and maintains delivery routes to optimize fleet operations.
Issues equipment to drivers such as PPE, log books, and uniforms Utilize systems, reports, and monitoring devices provided by the company to eliminate the diversion, theft, or loss of company assets, including inventory and equipment.
Direct activities of drivers while on their routes.
Responsible for reviewing fuel data and working with rivers and management to minimize costs.
24-7 on call, must be available to tend to the needs of diverse, routes, and equipment.
Some weekend work required.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises drivers.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws.
Interviewing, hiring, and training.
Evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
