Canine Care Technician - Southeastern Guide Dogs
Here at Southeastern Guide Dogs, we offer unique employment opportunities to people who like the knowledge that they have helped to change lives. Canine Care Technician's are the back bone of our operations. They act as the extra eyes, ears and hands for the Medical and Training Departments. This includes performing or preparing procedures that do not require Medical supervision. Canine Care Technician may also work on specific training protocols with individual puppies, groups of puppies or groups of dogs.
Our Canine Care Technicians are responsible for the daily upkeep and care of our dogs in training which includes cleaning, feeding and exercise regimens.
Important Details
This person must be able to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
Must be able to work 4 - 5 days per week
This person will work 30-45 hours per week
The position will pay $9/hour (this is not negotiable)
Must be able to work 8 to 11 hour shifts beginning as early as 6am
