Management Trainee

(NTB-National Tire and Battery) is seeking highly qualified college graduates, experienced retail management professionals, and military veterans that have an interest in building a career in automotive retail management for your market.
Those selected will be part of a structured training program that will last for 4 to 6 weeks (based on previous experience).
¬ The selected candidates will work closely with a certified store manager trainer to ensure every aspect of running an NTB-National Tire and Battery store is understood and learned.
¬ Selected candidates will assist in overseeing the performance of an assigned NTB-National Tire and Battery retail store to ensure it is meeting or exceeding customer service standards, sales plans, operating procedures, P&L management and business development.
¬ This training will be¬ supplemented with¬ e-learning modules and classroom training on store operations.
Upon¬ successful¬ completion of the training program, the Management Trainee will be assigned to a Store Manager position at one of our company owned retail locations.
This position offers a highly competitive base salary with a range of $45K - $50K+ based on experience and other relevant factors, plus a guaranteed monthly bonus of $1,000 per month after successful completion of the training and placement as a store manager.

QUALIFICATIONSBachelor‚EUR(TM)s degree or Associates Degree preferred.
Two years successful retail management experience preferred.
Skills desired include but are not limited to:
Leadership and motivational abilityTime managementOrganizational skillsTraining, coaching and counseling skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of tires, tire related and mechanical services desirable but not required.
Great attitude, work ethic, and the desire to provide outstanding customer service.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to budget, forecast and evaluate sales and profit performance.
Possession of a valid motor vehicle driver‚EUR(TM)s license.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
