All 1972 Beetles came with 1585 cc motors, but this has had a brand new major performance rebuild upgrade to 2276 cc and has around 200 horsepower, which is a lot more than any stock VW engine.
The engine has been rebuilt and enhanced to provide additional performance and has had parts added like the performance crankshaft, camshaft, reworked heads, big bore pistons and kit, twin Weber carbs, open-element air cleaners, chrome enhancements, stainless steel headers and exhausts, modified electronics, and more.
The engine is sitting in a clean and detailed rear engine compartment and is paired with a manual transmission.
