Vehicle Description 1968 Oldsmobile 442 Tribute Why This Vehicle is Special The Oldsmobile 442 is a muscle car produced by Oldsmobile between the 1964 and 1987 model years.
Introduced as an option package for US-sold F-85 and Cutlass models, it became a model in its own right from 1968 to 1971.
The 442 name (pronounced Four-four-two) derives from the original car's four-barrel carburetor, four-speed manual transmission, and dual exhausts.

Mechanical Our 442 Tribute has the 350 cubic inch engine, casting #3395558, that sounds very strong with the factory exhaust headers, aluminum metal intake, 4-barrel carb, chrome valve covers, chrome open air cleaner assembly with the 44s decal, and performance exhaust and mufflers flowing out the factory tips.
It is sitting in a very detailed and clean engine compartment and looks factory correct with power steering and power brakes too.
