Check out this 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Fastback.
The Fastback was added mid year to the full size Ford line as a natural progression from the Starliner that was produced in 1960 & 1961.
This was done mainly for aerodynamic & racing purposes as Ford dominated the NASCAR circuit in those days.
This Galaxie started its life at the Los Angeles, California Ford Assembly plant as verified by the VIN.
The original 289 was replaced with a later model 351 V8, which runs and moves this old Galaxie with ease.
It's hooked to a Cruise-O-Matic transmission which glides through the gears.
The newer vinyl interior is in excellent shape and the dash and switches are all in original condition.
The seat is a split bench seat with the head liner and carpet in very nice condition.
The exterior looks great with the stainless trim and Galaxie emblems adding the right amount of accent.
The aftermarket steel wheels on this car are shot in matching red paint and finished off with Ford poverty caps.
When looking for a great '60s cruiser you have found it with this 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback.
This vehicle is eligible for an Extended Service Contract through Classic Vehicle Protection.
