Vehicle Description 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Why This Car Is Special We have a great looking 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix here at Skyway Classics that is pretty much a previous nut and bolt restoration with a 400 cubic inch 8 cylinder engine with a Tri-Power Carburetor setup, American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, and painting in a pleasing jade green with a black vinyl top.
The Grand Prix first appeared in the Pontiac line for the 1962 model year, as a performance oriented replacement for the Ventura, which became a luxury trim level of the full-size Catalina.
The performance-minded John De Lorean, head of Advanced Engineering at Pontiac, contributed to the development of both the Grand Prix and the GTO.
Mechanical Under the hood, it has a big block Pontiac 400 cu in V8 engine with the iconic three-deuce Tri-Power carburetors and intake, chrome finned air cleaners on each carb, performance fuel system, chrome valve covers, performance braided plumbing, chrome radiator shield, power steering and power brakes, all sitting in a tidy engine compartment that is painted and detailed.

Exterior Revised sheet metal with rounded but even more pronounced Coke bottle styling highlights the 1967 Grand Prix we have here.
Also new to the GP were concealed headlights with horizontal mounting (all other full-size '67 Pontiacs retained the vertical headlights for one more year), concealed windshield wipers and ventless front windows on hardtop coupes.
Out back were louvered taillights similar to those found on the GTO.
Ours is painted in a stunning dark green with the vinyl top that it sets off beautifully.
It rides on BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires with grey/polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels to give it both a great ride and stance.
Even the trunk has been custom modified and highly detailed with an aqua and silver designed carpet ensemble.
Conclusion The 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix we have here at Skyway Classics is a classic big car that is great to cruise in and a real classic car with a lot of power and style.
It has the great green paint color as well as the Tri-Power engine under the hood to get you down the road in comfort and style.
