Vehicle Description 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Why This Car Is Special The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro appeared in Chevrolet dealerships in September 1966 for the 1967 model year on a brand-new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform and was available as a 2-door, 2+2 seat, hardtop or convertible, with the choice of either a straight-six or V8 engine.
We have a great 1967 sinister white Chevrolet Camaro RS with a black vinyl top and black stipes on its cowl induction hood here at Skyway Classics.
This Camaro looks as it did in the late 60's and it is a rare Rally Sport Option car with the Hide-Away Head Light package that has a lot of features that replicate a Z28 and an SS Camaro.

It also has the three-spoke sports steering wheel, factory and accessory gauges, factory seatbelts, and the stock looking pushbutton radio.

Of course, the blacked-out Rally Sport grille with hidden headlights is an icon of the first generation Camaros.
