It isn't often we get in a TRUE barn find and this 1940 Ford Opera Coupe has our attention! The exterior is about as solid as it can be with its authentic patina look.
Stand on the steps and you realize how sturdy this body is.
With minor adjustments such as the blue dot tail lights, new chrome bumpers, chrome headlight bezels, and red steel wheels with center caps and beauty rings, this mostly original exterior is ready to last decades longer.
Pull the hood latch and push that secondary in to reveal the Chevrolet small block 350.
Sitting atop is a 4 barrel Holley that feeds the fuel into the GM powerhouse.
Chrome valve covers add some flare while the AFCO Racing aluminum radiator keeps those temperatures cool as we approach the summer months.
A set of glasspacks give the 350 the rumble it deserves while a drop axle helps enhance the stance.
Slide inside and the bucket seats give you comfort and functionality as you grab the three on the tree.
What appear to be original gauges are still in place while a set of auxiliary gauges give you readings on the vitals.
His and hers ash trays give you the inception that you're cruising back in the 40's.
Whether you're a body shop owner looking for a fresh start or you simply appreciate originality, this Opera Coupe is ready for a proud new owner.
